Stephanie and Christian first met summer of 2017. Stephanie had just moved into a new apartment in Ballard and invited her friends to go brewery hopping. Their mutual friends invited Christian along as well. Christian showed up early and Stephanie caught his eye across the brewery. He was sure hoping he’d get the chance to talk to her when Marty and Jordan showed up and called Christian over to the table Stephanie was sitting at. From there introductions were made and Stephanie and Christian hit it off right away. Stephanie proceeded to crush Christian in some corn hole and the rest is history.
Stephanie and Christian have a mutual love of travel. They’ve gone to Austin, Hawaii, and Costa Rica with more trips planned as soon as possible. They also love exploring Seattle and discovering new spots for food, beer, and wine. The only thing they disagree on is college sports, with Stephanie being a WSU grad and Christian being a UW grad. They’ve learned to look past their differences and enjoy cheering on Washington sports teams in general. In summer 2018 Stephanie and Christian bought their first home together in the Phinney neighborhood of Seattle. It’s a cute little bungalow built in 1916 and they plan on making it their dream home in the next few years. Christian proposed to Stephanie in December 2019 at their favorite winery in Woodinville during a fun weekend getaway. This is just the start of their love story and they are looking forward to celebrating their wedding with friends and family August 2021.
